CVB Race volunteer shows off his bike

Calling all motorcycle riders! The Mansfield/Richland County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) needs local motorcyclists to tell about their favorite places to ride in the area!

Everyone has a place or a route they love to ride their motorcycle. The CVB wants to share that information with the many bikers that attend races. Through their motorsports website (www.ExperienceMotorsports.com) and at their information services booth at races, CVB staff & volunteers help motorcycle fans find new routes to ride while they are in town for race events. “During races, bikers constantly come up to the booth for advice on new ways of cruising around the area”, said Kim Miers, Meetings/Marketing Director for the Mansfield/Richland CVB. Miers is responsible for coordinating the CVB’s Information Services booth at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“We need to have what bikers are looking for. What we tell them has to be authentic and the best way to do that is to have rides FOR bikers submitted BY bikers. The Mansfield/Richland area boasts remarkable scenery with hills and wide open countryside to enjoy along the way,” Miers added. “The more routes we can catalog and map, the better able we are to add to the rider’s experience here.”

Does your group, family, or friends travel to a favorite breakfast or dinner spot by cycle or take an annual all-day adventure? Do you just love riding to the Olivesburg General Store for ice cream, hit the road to Malabar Farm State Park, or gather the gang for an outing to the Ohio State Reformatory? If so, the CVB would love to hear what you, the expert, has to say. Send us your turn-by-turn route!
